tasks:
I joined the Yellow Jackets Space Program in my first semester at Georgia Tech, becoming part of the propulsion team working on liquid rocket engines. I contributed to the assembly of HETS (Helluva Engine Test Stand), a portable stand designed to test Jet-A and LOX rocket engines, gaining hands-on experience with mechanical systems and testing procedures. Additionally, I worked with the ablatively cooled engine team, where I was responsible for the pig-tail attachment of pressure sensors to the combustion chamber, ensuring accurate data collection during engine firings. Through this experience, I deepened my understanding of P&IDs, high-pressure systems, and hands-on engineering work, while expanding my knowledge of liquid rocket propulsion and engine testing.
